This Dry Shampoo Keeps My Hair Fresh All Day in Hot & Humid Weather

DRY SHAMPOO - Hanz de Fuko

We all know we don’t have to wash our hair every day, but truth to be told, I look forward to shampooing and lathering up my strands in the shower. For some, it would be difficult to forgo washing their hair every day, especially when stepping outside into heat and humidity can make your locks look lank and greasy at the end of the day.

That’s where dry shampoo comes in. When things are looking a little oily, spray your roots with some dry shampoo and your hair will be looking almost as good as new. It soaks up the excess oil that has collected around the base of the shaft, and in turn, volumises your hair by allowing it to stand up instead of being weighed down by said oil.

And if you’re on the lookout for a good dry shampoo, look no further—you’re going to want to add this to your cart now.

Why we’re obsessed:

California-based Hanz de Fuko is a line of organic hair care products that are effective, organic and all-natural. While the line boasts some truly incredible products, what has really captured my heart is their Dry Shampoo (SGD35).

Everyone knows it’s notoriously difficult to keep your bangs looking fresh and non-greasy in the eternal heat. It’s also why I always spritz some dry shampoo on my bangs as a quick preventive measure before I head out. A lot of times, I might have gone a little heavy-handed with the spray and ended up with slightly—for lack of a better word—crunchy hair. But it’s never the case with Hanz de Fuko’s dry shampoo, although a little does go a long way. The formula feels so weightless and is easily absorbed into the hair.

It’s also formulated with so many hair-nourishing ingredients like goji berry, red wine extract, soy protein and burdock root to protect your hair from environmental stressors and condition your locks while keeping your hair fresh and grease-free.

How to use:

Shake well, hold the can away from the hair and spray evenly throughout, focusing on the roots. Once the product has dried down, use your fingers to brush out any excess product and you’re good to go!
