Everything You Need to Know About Hermès Beauty
“An Hermès object is experienced through the senses. Without this, beauty would be but a construct.” — Pierre-Alexis Dumas, Artistic Director of Hermès Beauty

The Birkin bag might be elusive, but the new Hermes lipstick surely isn’t.
Luxury French fashion house Hermes has just debuted a brand new makeup dedicated to the lips — Rouge Hermès, their first foray into makeup. The new lip line also includes lip balm (SGD103), universal lip pencil (SGD57), Poppy lip shine (SGD103) and a lip brush (SGD120).
The Rouge Hermès lipsticks are designed by the creative director of Hermès jewellery and shoes, Pierre Hardy. The tri-coloured cases are made of brushed and polished metal. Not only will they make a chic statement, they’re sustainable and made to last. The Hermes beauty lipsticks are refillable and free from plastics.

The collection of lipsticks comes in 24 shades, specifically chosen from the maison’s archive of over 75,000 silk swatches. Among the saturated reds and pinks, there are sumptuous statement colours. Our favourites include a deep crimson called ‘Rouge Casaque’ and a matte vibrant orange called ‘Orange Boîte’.
The lipsticks have two finishes — satin akin to smooth calf leather, and matte inspired by fine-grained suede. The mattes aren’t drying on the lips, but rather like swipes of plush powder. The maison’s perfumer, Christine Nagel, even custom blended signature scents for the lip colours.

Priced at SGD103 each, the Rouge Hermès lipsticks will be available from 4 March 2020 at Hermes Singapore Liat Towers, Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Department Store.
