Whether you’re dealing with a fussy baby or an exuberant toddler, you know you probably only have minutes to put on makeup before you have your hands full with the kids. Being a busy mom means you don’t have the luxury of time to get ready for the day, which is why we tapped LA-based hair and makeup artist and founder of Palette Salon Studios, Yuri Sinata (@yurisinata), for her tips on a quick and effortless mom makeup look.

Step 1. After finishing her morning skincare routine, Yuri goes in with sunscreen. She’s been loving the Supergoop Glowscreen Broad Spectrum Sunscreen Primer SPF 40 PA+++ (SGD55). “I don’t wear foundation much anymore, so I love this sunscreen for giving me a nice, healthy glow,” says Yuri.

Step 2. Move on to concealer to cover any redness and dark under-eyes. Yuri recommends using two fingers to blend the product out faster.

Step 3. Next, Yuri uses the ILIA Beauty Multi-Stick in All of Me (SGD53) to add colour to her eyes, cheeks and lips. “I love using multi-functional products because it just saves me a lot of time,” says Yuri. “The Multi-Stick is very moisturizing so I wouldn’t recommend it for oilier skin types.”

Step 4. Set the T-zone and eye area with translucent powder.

Step 5. For extra oomph on the eyes, Yuri goes in with the Sephora Collection Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick in Beige Glitter (SGD32).

Step 6. She applies a lash primer-mascara hybrid from Honest Beauty to make her lashes pop.

Step 7. For brows, Yuri likes the L’Oreal Brow Stylist Boost & Set Brow Mascara (SGD33) to make them full and thick. “Take off the excess and start at the front of the brows, swiping upwards, and then move downwards towards the tail,” says Yuri. “You can also use the tip to fill in any sparse areas.”

Step 8. Last, Yuri’s tip to look fresher and more awake (even when you’re not!) is to use eye drops. “Just wait a minute or two after using it, and your eyes will look so much whiter and brighter!” says Yuri.
