The Digital Merchandiser is responsible for implementing the merchandising strategy by applying analytics and product storytelling. The ideal candidate must be very analytical and have an understanding of digital product representation, consumer shopping habits, and onsite tactics that drive sales and conversion.
They will manage the new flow of products on-site, as well as many other eCommerce selling-related tasks with the operations team.

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Manage and review merchandise presentation on-site to ensure the categorization, imagery, product knowledge, and pricing are accurate and meet brand guidelines

Strategic brand onboarding, beauty product selection/curation

Work closely with the demand planning on assortment strategies

Manage and review the Marketing Calendar to ensure the merchandising story is consistent from email to the site – including reviewing copy, imagery and test sends to ensure accuracy and align to brand guidelines

Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign initiatives, product features, content planning, and customer interaction with categories, product placements, and general online shopping experiences

Create, manage and execute compelling product and seasonal stories

Consistent, daily maintenance of the beauty platform and tactically execute on predefined merchandising strategies

Manage flow process of products to the site, tracking and organizing all product assets to guarantee products are live on time

Track inventory, communicate delays and shortages to mitigate business impact

Prepare and analyze reports on product performance and make recommendations on reorders

Utilize merchandising tools to optimize site experience for demand generation

Achieves sales and margin targets by implementing technical and non-technical strategies and initiatives that will drive product revenue, margin, sell-through, UPT, AOV, and conversion
Required Experience:

Experience with less than 1 year is accepted. Passion in e-commerce, beauty, online merchandising is strongly preferred

Strong attention to detail and extremely deadline-oriented Must be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines Be organized and a team player

Ability to build strong relationships and credibility

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially excel/Google sheets Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
