Beauty On The Go: 5 Minutes & 5 Products with Sofia Arissa Arman

Breaking out a full 20-pan eyeshadow palette on a weekday morning seems excessive; most don’t have that much time— or patience— to do a full makeup routine before they head out for work. That being said, we do still need a few minutes in the morning to apply a handful of products to look a little more human. Singer, social media influencer and educator Sofia Arissa Arman (@sofiaarissa.a) shares with BEAUBIT her 5-minute makeup routine that gets her out the door looking good and (relatively) on time.

Skincare
The 23-year-old’s morning skincare routine is deceptively simple but works wonders for her combination-oily skin type. “After cleansing, I’ll use my Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum (SGD175), followed by Philosophy’s Renewed Hope in A Jar Water Cream (SGD64) and ZincScreen by Supergoop (SGD62).”

The 5-Minute Makeup Routine
For makeup, she has five simple steps to look put together quickly: tinted moisturizer, a 2-in-1 blush and bronzer, setting powder, brow pencil and a good lipstick.
She starts off with the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF30 PA+++ (SGD77), a great dewy option that blurs imperfections but still lets your natural skin peek through.

For a naturally sun-kissed complexion, she swipes the Nudestix Nudies Matte All Over Face Color Blush & Bronze (SGD49) directly onto her face and buffs it into the skin using the blending brush. After that, she sets everything in place with the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder by IT Cosmetics (SGD48).

Groomed eyebrows are important to look fresh and awake. Using the Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-wear Brow Pencil in Saddle (SGD68), Sofia fills in any sparse areas, and brushes through with a spoolie.

Last but not least, you want a good lipstick to bring some life back to your face. One of Sofia’s favourites is the MAC Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Taupe (SGD33). If you are seriously running out of time, you can even double it as your blush.
